General information

Short Summary
This proposal will be submitted for the Eurostars/Eureka program, aiming to develop a household refrigerator that adapts its operation based on user habits and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. The project seeks to enhance refrigerator performance by utilizing smart AI algorithms that improve decision-making and product temperature profiles, reducing energy and noise surplus.
Full Description
We are seeking partners for a collaborative project under the Eurostars/Eureka program, focused on developing an innovative household refrigerator that can dynamically adapt to user habits and varying environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. This project aims to revolutionize how refrigerators operate by integrating advanced smart AI algorithms that optimize decision-making processes, enhance energy efficiency, and maintain optimal temperature profiles.
Our project targets several key areas of improvement:
1. Adaptive Operation: By incorporating external and internal sensors, we aim to monitor user interactions, such as door opening frequency, to tailor the refrigerator's operation to the specific needs and behaviors of users. This adaptability not only enhances user convenience but also contributes to food safety and preservation.
2. Environmental Sensitivity: The refrigerator will respond to changes in ambient conditions, such as temperature and humidity, ensuring consistent performance regardless of external factors. This capability will be crucial in maintaining energy efficiency and minimizing noise.
3. Smart Decision-Making: The core of our project is the development of multi-faceted AI algorithms capable of intelligent decision-making. These algorithms will move beyond traditional parametric decision-making processes to incorporate user habits and environmental influences, resulting in superior product performance.
4. Database and Learning Algorithms: We are looking for partners who can conduct preliminary tests or utilize historical data to develop comprehensive databases for training our learning algorithms. Accelerated user habit testing will be a critical component of this process, providing a solid foundation for AI development.
5. Collaboration and Testing: We welcome collaboration with partners lacking existing infrastructures, offering support for conducting accelerated refrigerator tests within a mutual workflow framework. We expect our partners to clearly define and communicate the data requirements and conditions for these tests, ensuring efficient and simplified procedures.
6. Support for AI Algorithm Testing: Partners are also expected to assist in performing control tests that validate the working principles of the developed AI algorithms under all conditions. This will ensure that our solutions are robust, reliable, and ready for market deployment.
