Located in Alanya, Türkiye, the company processes own greenhouse grown bananas into high-quality banana flour and chips through its own drying and milling facilities. All production steps-collection, drying, and grinding—are carried out in-house, ensuring full traceability and quality control.
To combat food waste, the company upcycles surplus bananas into flour and healthy snacks. This upcycling approach supports both sustainability and human health. Saledo has been recognized at international platforms such as EIT - Waste 2 Plate, Foodvalley in Wageningen Upcycling and Nutrition Community, and the Global Food Upcycling Map for its commitment to sustainable innovation.
Green Banana Flour is 100% natural banana flour with no additives or preservatives. It is suitable for gluten-free diets, vegan nutrition, functional foods, and clean-label formulations. With increasing interest in alternative flours, green banana flour offers a nutritious and sustainable ingredient for baked goods, snacks, and baby foods.
Green Banana Chips are %100 kettle fried natural chips which are coated with natural spices such as chili & lime, sriracha, garlic & butter and sea salt. Green banana chips are not only delicious and indulgence free, but also with its low-fat value, high in fiber and protein properties it is a functional snack.
Saledo’s green banana flour was highlighted as an exemplary product in the Food Reformulation Guide prepared by Foodvalley in Wageningen University (Netherlands). This resistant starch, fiber-rich flour contributes to digestive health while adding structure and balance to food formulations.
Since 2024, the company has launched its retail brand, making green banana flour available to consumers via its own website, gluten-free stores, and online marketplaces. Saledo is also actively engaged in R&D collaborations across sectors such as bakery, vegan products, cosmetics, and food supplements. Additionally, Saledo’s green banana-derived products have positive influence on gut microbiota and, by extension, support gastrointestinal health.
