Partner Sought

Expected Role of a Partner
We are willing to lead a consortium and participate in several others for Driving Urban Transitions (DUT 2024) Call. For the consortium where we take a leading role:
•We will be responsible for software and hardware development to integrate micromobility vehicles with public transportation and promote their use among youth, adolescents, and young adults.
•A leading Turkish research company, specializing in discovering and modeling society's cognitive structures regarding concepts, brands, or products, and developing strategies based on these structures, will also be part of the consortium.
•Additionally, we will ensure the participation of cities from different regions of Türkiye with varying population structures as use case providers.
•For this consortium, we invite partners from other participating countries to guide us in software and hardware design by contributing to the determination of design requirements, including: - Research companies/institutes that can model societal behavior and perception, - Use case provider cities and organizations familiar with local regulations, - Organizations specializing in urban planning and the design/production of urban structures.

For the consortiums in which we may consider being a participant, our contributions may include:
•Providing data from over 7,500 micromobility devices currently active in 20 cities across Türkiye,
•Hardware and software development according to the needs of use case provider cities, including: - Modifying e-scooters and e-bikes to suit the terrain, climate, and ground cover of the use case provider cities, - Designing technically and economically optimized vehicles based on battery capacity and motor power, tailored to usage habits and regulations in these cities, - Developing software and payment systems for the integration of micromobility with public transportation, and implementing incentive campaigns, - Optimizing the integration of the micromobility fleet with public transportation, including timely vehicle placement and the design of operational principles.
•Hardware and software development targeted at children, adolescents, and young adults, including: - Designing safer, more visible, and appealing vehicles for children, adolescents, and young adults, - Implementing software and hardware restrictions that activate when shared micromobility vehicles are rented by children, - Developing hardware (IoT) and software for parental control in fleet vehicles rented by children, or for individual vehicles allocated for children's use, including features such as travel route and time monitoring, route restrictions, fall detection, and parental payment for rental vehicles.
•Identifying use case provider cities within Türkiye that have geographic features, climates, and populations suitable for the project's objectives, and obtaining approvals from more than 20 cities where we have already established fleet operations, as well as over 40 cities with which we have been in close contact since 2011.
•Additional contributions based on your project requirements, which can be discussed further.
