General information

Short Summary
A UK company with over 20 years of experience manufacturing innovative kitchen fire protection systems for commercial kitchens is seeking distribution partners to expand sales in new international markets.
Full Description
Established in 2003, the independent UK business offers Fire Suppression Systems to its customers’ special risk fire suppression needs. The market leading products uses the best available technology and is approved and recommended by numerous high profile insurance providers, most notably by Allianz.

The system has distinct advantages over competitive mechanical systems, such as the Ansul and Amerex alternatives, being electrically actuated. The wet chemical suppression system employs defence technology ‘Gas Generators’, similar to the technology used in life safety applications such as car airbags, which enhance safety, reliability and enable complete monitoring of the system. Each fire system is designed specifically around the risk at hand giving complete flexibility and control.

The products are market leading in France, the Netherlands and Germany. The UK company is now looking to establish more partnerships with distributors across Europe.
Advantages and Innovations
The system is electronically controlled with no mechanical moving parts. Installations comprise of one or a number of stainless-steel cylinders, each containing a highly effective F class wet chemical liquid designed specifically for fast flame knock down and fire suppression. The system is LPS1223 certified.

The low, near neutral pH value of the liquids ensures that there is no damage to the commercial kitchen appliances, and as a direct consequence of the efficiency of K-Series in limiting the volume of liquid required to control the situation, there is minimal cleanup requirements following discharge.

Maintaining the individuality of the premises is often a critical part of a restaurants brand identity. Often this requirement is based on the practicalities of the site and on the ‘look’ required. Manufactured in stainless steel the systems are designed to meet all the aesthetic qualities required as well as being able to be fitted quickly and efficiently. Aesthetic appearances play a key role in the design of all pipework and nozzles.
