General information

Short Summary
A small UK company has successfully launched micro pumps for local pressurising of water and heating systems. Distribution is sought on the Continent through plumbing wholesalers and manufacturers.
Full Description
If you have low water pressure or water flow and you want to do more for less a micro-pump offers the perfect solution. Typical examples are homes that expand sideways or upwards. Inspired by engineering at the turn of the century, the inventor, a hydraulics engineer, invented a patented pump in 2010 which gives the same results as pumps over 20 times bigger. It has been voted the most popular pump by households in the UK. Furthermore, the micro pumps allow for new applications in commercial buildings and also renewables systems.
The product range (see the Picture) solves pressure and flow problems in pressurised unvented tank systems (incl. Megaflows, combi boilers, electric showers, and in vented tank systems). They solve any pressure problem in any potable water system.
The UK company seeks distribution agreements across Europe with companies that make or wholesale central heating and plumbing products.
Advantages and Innovations
The innovation lies in creating a pressure cell within any pipe allowing targeted pressure increases to showers, taps, and other applications. The pumps are 12 Volt DC with a power unit plugged into a standard plug socket. The range includes fully waterproof, fully automatic pumps which are capable of withstanding high pressures, are built to last, and bring large cost savings.
