General information

Short Summary
Greek company seeks partners from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia for an Interreg IPA ADRION (2nd Call, Priority 3.1) consortium. The project focuses on enhancing connectivity in remote regions via smart, low-carbon mobility solutions aligned with EU Green Deal and Smart Mobility goals.
Full Description
Based in Greece, the company develops digital mobility platforms, geospatial systems, and AI-powered tools that support mobility planning, smart governance, and sustainable transport. In response to persistent connectivity challenges in isolated and underdeveloped regions of the Adriatic-Ionian area, the company is leading the development of a proposal to create data-driven and low-emission transport solutions that can be piloted and scaled across the region.
The proposed initiative will focus on the design and testing of innovative, low-carbon transport options, such as air-sea, sea-land, and inland-to-inland connections. It will also involve the application of digital mapping, predictive modeling, and accessibility analysis to support data-informed public decision-making. In addition, the project will lead to the development of regional mobility action plans that align with green transition priorities, improve access to the TEN-T network, and promote inclusive territorial development.
The Greek company will lead the technical implementation of the platform, delivering capabilities in real-time and predictive route modeling, multi-modal transport planning, citizen-facing mobility applications, and smart governance tools to support planning and policy.
The company is currently seeking regional or local public authorities from Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Serbia to join the consortium as pilot site partners. Each partner will represent a specific use case—such as connectivity between coastal regions, between coastal and inland areas, or between remote hinterland zones. Ideal partners should be willing to co-develop and test smart mobility solutions, provide access to local transport data, and actively participate in shaping regional mobility action plans that address their unique accessibility challenges.
Advantages and Innovations
The company offers a combination of digital mobility technologies, advanced modeling tools, and citizen-focused design. Its modular platform can adapt to various regional challenges. The project promotes carbon reduction, regional integration, and inclusion, supporting EU Smart Mobility and Green Deal objectives.

Partner Sought

Expected Role of a Partner
The Greek company is currently seeking local or regional public authorities from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia to join the consortium as use case leaders. Each partner should represent a distinct mobility challenge, such as improving coastal-to-coastal connectivity, addressing coastal-to-hinterland transport gaps, or overcoming inland-to-inland mobility barriers in remote areas.
Ideal partners will be expected to provide access to local and regional mobility data, collaborate in the co-design and piloting of alternative transport solutions, and contribute to the development of regional mobility strategies that align with EU climate targets and cohesion policies.
Together, all partners will co-develop the project proposal, implement meaningful pilot activities, and help demonstrate sustainable, low-carbon, and replicable mobility models that can enhance regional accessibility, reduce emissions, and promote long-term integration across the Adriatic-Ionian region.

(!)Please note: Under the rules of the ADRION Programme, the same organization may not participate in more than two project proposals, and may act as Lead Partner in only one.
