General information

Short Summary
An Austrian company pioneering in Virtual Reality (VR) solutions is looking for partners interested in revolutionizing safety and awareness trainings in industrial settings. The company is a technology firm specializing in Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality apps and is on a mission to develop immersive VR training modules that address common safety hazards in the production industry. The SME is looking for both, cooperation partners and investors, who want to support further development.
Full Description
With their core competency lying in the production of highly immersive VR training applications, the company is currently developing various training modules that offer realistic simulations of potential workplace hazards often found in the production industry. These simulations not only provide a hands-on learning experience, but enhance employee preparedness and risk assessment capabilities, leading to safer production environments for all.

In line with the EU strategic framework on health and safety at work (2021-2027), each of the VR Safety and Awareness Training modules aims to create awareness among employees regarding the identification, resolution, and avoidance of fundamental errors in production operations.

Each module is tailored to train a specific workplace hazard, thus allowing employees to engage in an interactive exercise within a protected virtual environment. Here, they gradually learn to identify, assess and resolve common causes of accidents. With each training session, employees gain confidence and skill to to recognize and address standardized hazards, eventually leading to secure routines in the virtual as well as the real working environment.

Key features:
- Cost-effective and scalable training solution for companies of all sizes: The VR training is a cost-effective solution that drastically lowers or even eliminates expenses for expensive equipment, materials, travels and specialized instructors. It can be scaled to meet the needs of both, large or small groups of learners.
- Immersive and realistic learning environments: Training and learning take place in a safe, engaging, and immersive VR environment which mimics real life situations and tasks and engages learners more effectively.
- High accessibility: The VR training is accessible to a wide range of learners, including those with disabilities and those who are unable to attend traditional classroom-based training.

The Austrian SME is looking for organizations, partners and investors that share their commitment to leveraging VR technology for the improvement of workplace safety and awareness.
Advantages and Innovations
The current flagship project involves the creation of a comprehensive VR safety and awareness training program. This program aims to simulate common safety hazards in production environments, providing employees with a realistic and immersive training experience. Main characteristics are:

- Polished UX Design: As a key player in the European VR application market the award-winning SME provides sophisticated user experience design (UX), which enables easy entry and optimal usability of their VR applications.

- Gamification: The VR training integrates gamification elements to increase motivation and joy in learning, thus enhancing learning success and user satisfaction.

- Immediate Feedback: The immediate feedback-system provides trainees with an instant response to and feedback for their actions, allowing them to successfully learn from their mistakes and improve their skills.

- Narration: The VR training integrates narration elements to frame the experience and provides an underlying reason for each action taken, thus increasing user motivation and overall learning results.
