We support companies across Europe in the transformation of the mobility, transport and automotive sectors towards sustainability, connectivity, and digitalisation. Our work spans from greener and smarter vehicles—including electric and autonomous solutions—to seamless, multimodal mobility systems such as rail. We also foster innovation in key enabling technologies helping SMEs access international opportunities and stay competitive in the evolving mobility landscape.
How we work
The Mobility, Automotive and Transport (MAT) sector is undergoing a deep transformation driven by the twin green and digital transitions. Companies across Europe are innovating towards cleaner, smarter, and safer mobility—developing sustainable vehicles, connected infrastructures and efficient transport systems.
The Enterprise Europe Network supports SMEs in the MAT sectors by fostering innovation, cross-border collaboration and access to international markets. We help businesses navigate the shift to electric mobility, autonomous driving, smart logistics and seamless multimodal transport—including rail and public transport integration.
Our priorities include:
- traditional automotive supply chains
- electric and zero-emission vehicles
- key enabling technologies such as batteries, power electronics, lightweight materials, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and connectivity software for connected and autonomous vehicles.
- circularity
- smart mobility solutions and digital connectivity
- sustainable and multimodal logistics and infrastructure
Whether you are developing new vehicle components, integrating digital services, or expanding your business abroad, the Network can help you find the right partners and opportunities across Europe and beyond.
