SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) are vital drivers of growth and innovation, accounting for 99 percent of all businesses in the EU and employing around 100 million people. Their views and ideas are essential for shaping the future direction and purpose of the European construction. The Conference provides SMEs with a unique platform to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and influence policy debates.

Three European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have won the Enterprise Europe Network Award for 2021, announced by the European Commission and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) at the Network's annual conference on 1 October, in Stuttgart, Germany.

This call aims at extending the Enterprise Europe Network to other global growth markets. Leading service-oriented business support organisations are invited to join the Enterprise Europe Network as of 1 January 2022.
